MY STYLE

I would describe my style as documentary, cinematic style. I love real moments and I strive to make your session with me feel as comfortable and less like a photoshoot as possible

As for my editing style, my work leans more toward natural colors and warm tones. I love to talk about this part of my job because as much as taking the photos is a huge part of the artistic process, I think that editing allows so much space for creativity and is what fully completes my work.

My love of photography definitely partially stemmed from messing around with cameras, but the first thing I fell in love with was actually editing. I remember being younger downloading every editing app I could get my hands on, I became obsessed with how insane it was that you could completely change the way an image looked just from editing it. Slowly that obsession turned into taking my own photos and learning how to edit those, and obviously fell in love with that too.

For awhile I tried to put my editing style into a box and force everything look the exact same way, but over time I have realized that is not what makes my work special, nor is it fun for me to approach it that way. I love that I can edit images warm and vibrant, dark and moody, vintage and old-school, depending on the tone of the photo or video session. I have a deep understanding of all the different parts of editing and I love to showcase that in my work whenever it calls for different looks. When we are deciding on the angle you want to go in for your photos, I ensure I understand what you’re looking for to bring your vision to life in the best way possible.

After seven years being in this business, I have found what works for me regarding my pricing and my time. Once you contact me and we discuss your specific vision for your shoot (whether photography or videography related) I will send over my rates and everything that is included in working with me. This helps me to ensure I have the best idea of what you are looking for in working together and to see if we’re a good fit!

One of the most exciting things to me about being a photographer + videographer is the ability to travel for my work.
