Introduce your brand

When I think back to what sparked my love for photography and videography, it actually wasn’t picking up a camera that came first for me. It was editing, there was something so interesting to me about being able to manipulate an ordinary image into something beautiful or change it into anything I wanted. When I wasn’t studying or playing soccer, I quite literally spent every spare moment teaching myself all the different ways you could edit photos and videos. It was an absolute obsession. Eventually I picked up my mom’s old camera, and the rest is history.

You ever wish you could freeze a moment in time? Or relive certain ones? There’s something so incredible to me about being able to capture moments and make them last forever in a way. I mean, is that not the coolest thing ever? I love that I get to do that for people. That’s the other thing about this “job” that made me fall in love with it so much. My clients very quickly turn into my friends, and being able to give something they’ll cherish so much for the rest of their life is so special to me.

I think that I initially gravitated toward photography because it’s such an escape, and in my mind had very little to do with me and everything to do with the people I was capturing. Over time I’ve realized that while the people i’m capturing are obviously the focal point, I am such an important part in the process of bringing ideas to life. I get to be the creative director, artist, editor, and so much more throughout the process of story telling and showcasing people for who they truly are, and I want people to be able to get to know that girl too.

The process of creating these brand photos was so much fun because they feel so much like me. When I was deciding what I wanted them to look like, it only felt right to include the people that have made this so special. I came up with the idea to create a whole photo wall of everyone (yes, everyone!) I’ve worked with over the past 7. Seeing the entire thing in front of me was the most insane feeling.

Thank you a million times, I feel so fortunate to call this my job.
